Why Do Humans Have to Suffer So Much?

John, of Magical Service.

I am, in fact, John’s Soul, John’s Divinity, all that John is, integrated here with the human that you know as John.

Mmm…

Oh, we have a very special Soul Talk for today, and we’ve called in a couple of guests.

First of all, we have my own feminine facet. At times we’ve called her Master Anna, but she’s part of me so she’s not really a guest.

In addition, we have the energies and consciousness of Yeshua, the one you knew two thousand years ago as Jesus Christ. Oh, you didn’t know him by that name, for that’s something the church came up with much later. His name was Yeshua ben Joseph.

And yes, most of you knew him personally, or at least you felt his energies wherever you were in the world at that point, as he brought in this seed of hope.

And we have his mother in that lifetime, the one the Christian Church knows as Mother Mary. She’s one of you, and such a beautiful being! The church has distorted her so much, and somehow she just smiles and plays along with them. And sometimes she brings her consciousness through in a setting like this. So full of compassion, so full of love!

Yeshua and Mary were here, in a sense, a couple of days ago when we channeled a little class called Receiving Christ Consciousness, Something Yeshua has been wanting to bring through for some time. It’s a little bit of a new perspective for most of you, on what Christ Consciousness is and where it came from, and what to do with it. And especially, on how to receive it and own it. John will be releasing that soon.

Yes, I call myself John of Magical Service. And my human is called John, so I’ll refer to him as John. And that is to signify that we are integrated together. There is no longer a separation between us, or even an illusion of separation.

Oh, John, my human, forgets that every now and then, but more and more he knows it. He feels it so deeply.

He called me Master John for a while, when he channeled me. Then he felt the feminine so strong in me, so he called me Master Anna. And then we both felt the need to bring it even closer to home, so now I’m simply John of Magical Service.

What does that mean? It just means that I am John’s Divinity.

And oh, when you integrate with your Divinity, it brings so much magic into your life!

Humans get confused. John gets confused quite often, because that magic is not the kind you read about in your storybooks. It’s not the kind you imagine, where you have all this power and you speak certain words, or take certain actions, and magic happens and things transform.

No, with this magic you simply be your light, and magic happens all around you.

It’s not about power. Real creation has no power in it, and no control.

So, Yeshua and Mother Mary are here, bringing in their consciousness, their energies, and especially their compassion, for this message.

Mmm…

You see, this morning John was on Facebook and saw a post from a friend, a dear friend, asking, why—we’re going to paraphrase here to keep it simple—why do humans have to suffer so much?

Why? Surely it can’t be that Divinity asked us to come and suffer so much, just so it could know itself better? It seems so arbitrary, maybe even mean! (These are our words, not hers.)

So, why do humans have to suffer so much?

Ahh…

To get to the bottom of that, let’s take a little journey.

Some of you have been on this journey before, and you know where we’re going. Others of you haven’t.

Humans have all these stories about your origins, about where you came from. Many religions were built around those stories, that were written down by people just like you who felt a little deeper within themselves. They felt something there, and they brought in a message.

You called them prophets, and they brought in these messages.

But you see, when you channel, whether it is your Soul or some other entity—which is actually your Soul, an avatar that you’ve created of that other being—when you channel, the message always, always, always is limited to the consciousness, the awareness, of the channeler.

Oh, some will argue with that. There have been those who, in order to get around that, would leave their body and let some other being come in and take over their body for a time. Well, besides being a little risky, it still doesn’t get around the fact that the message that comes through is still limited by the consciousness of the one through whom it comes.

And so these prophets, as you call them, who wrote your scriptures—oh, many of them were you in those times, part of this group that Yeshua spoke of in our class. This group of you, who were focused on bringing hope and on finding a solution to the challenges that mankind was facing.

And so they brought in these messages, through their consciousness of the time and into the consciousness of humanity at that time, which was very, very limited. It was so limited compared to your consciousness!

Oh, if you, in the consciousness you were in at that point, had seen the modern world, you would have attributed everything to magic, to gods, to various different deities. And you would have gone crazy, because your awareness simply could not hold it at that time. Humanity has come so far!

So you brought in these messages, into the consciousness of the time, these stories of where you came from, and they were the best you could do at that point. And they were so limited.

Oh, humanity—you, we—were like children at that time. We didn’t know very much, and through all of this experience we’ve come to know so much more. And now we can see through those old stories. We can see how they served, at that time.

But humanity made religions out of them. They wrote them in stone and said, “This is the truth for all time, and it never changes!” And because of that, so much of humanity is stuck.

Because, you see, truth always changes. Always, always. It expands. It grows, as your awareness grows.

So now, here we are. So many of you have let go of those old ideas. You’ve begun to go deep inside and find your own truth, your own relationship with Divinity.

You don’t need a church or a priest or anyone else, or even a prophet, to find your truth. It’s all here inside of you, because you are divinity. And that is what you are discovering.

So, we’ve talked about all of that in other places, and we will much more, but for now we have a little journey to take.

So, get comfortable.

Close your eyes if you feel like it.

And let’s take a little journey back through time.

Back to before time even existed.

And we want you to keep in mind that, well, two things: One is that time is a human illusion. That’s all it is. It only works here, in this human so-called reality. It only exists here, and outside of this little construct there is no time. There is kind of a sequence of experience, but it is not about time.

The other point we want to make here, very carefully, is that there are no words that can accurately convey what happened, and so we speak in metaphors. We tell a story to illustrate a deeper perspective of who you are, but it is not to be taken as literal physical fact. It just doesn’t work that way. It is a metaphor.

So, let’s travel back to the beginning of this metaphor, which was before Earth existed, before time existed.

Oh, you existed, because you are eternal.

You existed as pure consciousness.

You were not even energy. You didn’t even know what energy is.

You were pure consciousness.

Simple, pure awareness. That’s all.

But dear friend, that was everything!

At some point you became aware of yourself and you asked: Who am I?

Well, the nature of you is that when a question is asked, the answer appears.

It must, for there cannot be one without the other.

Whether you can let that answer in or not is a different matter, but it is there. Every question you have, the answer is there inside of you.

And so, in answer to that question you suddenly saw this mirror image of yourself.

You could say it was a part of you, the other half of you, but those expressions are way too human. They limit it. They twist it.

So, we’ll just say it was this mirror image of you. More than an image, it was a mirror of you.

It was you, and you were looking at yourself. And you were stunned by what you saw. The beauty of this amazing being!

And you said, “I want to go out and explore this incredible being that I am!”

So, a part of you stayed there as pure consciousness, and a part of you went out.

Remember, we are using human words for something that is way beyond anything human or anything physical. The words “part” and “mirror” and all of these things are so physical. They don’t really fit, but they are the best we have right now. So just feel the story. Feel the essence.

So, you went out.

Actually, you went in, but it felt like going out.

You went deep into yourself, into your own imagination, and you began to create.

You didn’t know what you were doing. Something would float through your awareness: I wonder what would that be like? And suddenly there it was, in front of you.

Because again, every question has an answer.

So you began to create, and you began to explore your creations.

You began to run into others who were going through the same process, and you began to interact.

You began to run into each other’s creations.

Some of them you didn’t like at all, and some of them you thought were pretty cool.

You began to group together, based on your creations and your—oh, you began to learn how to communicate with each other through your energies.

Again, you didn’t even know what energy was, but you found it happening. You found this communication happening, and you found yourself going through all of these experiences with beings you liked and beings you didn’t like.

And, well, you were children in your knowledge, and so you gravitated toward the ones you liked and you fought with the ones you didn’t like.

And you are eternal beings. You couldn’t die and you couldn’t truly be hurt, but you discovered that you could trick somebody into believing your version of reality, and in that you could send them blasting off into oblivion someplace. And they would be stuck there until they remembered their own reality, and then they would be back.

So you had these battles, incredible battles, and you fed on each other’s energies.

You found that you could give yourself a boost by grabbing somebody else’s energy and pulling it into yourself.

Oh, eventually it went back to its owner. But you didn’t realize that right away, so you had all these energy-stealing games going on. And the battles and the games and the exploring became so intense that, at some point, everything started to slow down.

You could say that you were going into fear. You were becoming afraid of your own creation, because it kept going ways that you didn’t expect and didn’t want.

You began to feel pain, fear, heartache, and all these things, and that caused you to begin to hold back.

And because of that, creation slowed down.

In the beginning all it took was a mere thought floating through your mind, and suddenly it would be manifested.

Oh, you didn’t actually have minds back then, or maybe you had the very beginnings of them. But still, just the mere image floating through and suddenly it would be real in front of you.

You began to become afraid of that, for so often it wasn’t what you wanted. It was something different.

Often it appeared to hurt somebody else, or somebody else’s creation hurt you. Or it seemed that way.

There was always the part of you back home; watching, safe, that could never be touched by any of this.

You are an eternal being. You cannot be damaged, but you can certainly give yourself the experience of being damaged, the illusion. And you did.

Because of that, you began to become afraid of your own creation. And in that fear, you held it back. It began to take much longer for things to manifest, and then you became afraid of that.

There was so much suffering going on, because you didn’t know anything else. You just knew that there were all these forces that were affecting you, and buffeting you, and trying to destroy you. They couldn’t, but it felt like they could.

So you finally came together with the others and said, “Something is really wrong here! And we are afraid of what’s going to happen if things keep slowing down, if we keep being so afraid of our own creations.”

You didn’t even know how to understand that then, but you said, “Something is wrong here and we need to find a solution, because if everything stops, what will happen to us? Maybe we’ll just disappear and be gone!”

Now we know that could not have happened, but back then we didn’t know that.

And so, after a lot of discussion and ideas, the idea was put forward to create a place where you could explore yourself. Where you could replay those battles and those pains and all those things, until you could figure out what was happening and how to go beyond them.

And that is how Earth came to be.

It wasn’t spoken into being by some grand god. No, it was imagined into being by you, by us.

Oh, so many of us were involved in that project. We didn’t know how to do it, but we dove in and we learned. And together we created this little universe, kind of off by itself, and within that all these galaxies and stars.

And in a little corner of that universe was the galaxy you call your Milky Way, and in a little corner of that galaxy, there was this rock orbiting a sun.

Mmm…

You might notice your scientists are discovering, as they map the universe, that your solar system is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, in an empty place in the galaxy. And that was by design, dear friend, so that it couldn’t be interfered with.

So you took this rock, and you began to shape it and to set up its environment. One of us, an angel just like you, whom you now call Gaia, volunteered to be the one to embody in this planet, to put her consciousness and her energies into this planet and bring it to life. So she embodied in this planet, just like you embodied into this body you are walking around in.

Oh, and with much help from all of you. From all of us.

You might have heard that she’s leaving now. And it’s about time, for she has served her duty, you could say. She has served her purpose. She nurtured this place. She nurtured you, up to this point of completion that you have come to.

You’ll learn more about that completion in Yeshua’s and Mother Mary’s class on Receiving Christ Consciousness.

Ahh…

But you know what we are talking about.

This grand project has finally reached completion. The answers have been found, and already they have gone back to Source. They have gone back to the beginning of all things, and they have changed all of Existence!

But oh, what a journey it has been!

You came to Earth, and oh, you were so eager to come here! You could hardly wait until it was ready, which took a long time in your human time frame.

It was, from our perspective, no time at all. But in human terms it took a long, long time for this planet to get ready and for life to evolve.

And that’s what it was. It was evolution, but it was a managed evolution. Not some god managing it from up on this throne in heaven someplace. That doesn’t exist.

It was you. You and me and all of us, learning together how to manage this creation.

Oh, making mistakes, sometimes big mistakes. Sometimes nearly destroying the whole thing. But we learned, and we evolved. And with us, your earth evolved also and became what it is today.

Oh, you worry. Right now you worry about the earth. You look at how things are going and you are terrified that mankind is going to destroy it. But it isn’t.

No, this is managed at a much deeper level, and everything that is happening on your planet right now is in perfect, divine order.

It is serving you.

It is serving this completion.

It is serving this grand leap in evolution, for that’s what it is.

It will find its balance.

Gaia is indeed stepping back, stepping out. As she should, for it is time for her to go on her own journey of evolution, of discovering herself. Perhaps even of bringing life to other planets and other places that are being built right now in the pattern of Earth, because this experiment was so successful.

In any case, it is time for her to choose her own destiny, her own purposes. And she leaves in honor, in honor of you, because it worked.

It worked out! The answers have been found!

But along the way, oh, there was so much of what you call suffering. So much drama!

But that was the point of Earth. It wasn’t just to be a beautiful planet, with nature and its own kind of heaven. No, this was intended to be a gritty, earthy, down-and-dirty environment where you could replay all of those battles from before, and come to understand why they happened.

It wasn’t some god, or even your Soul, that said, “Oh, you have to go there to Earth and have all these experiences on my behalf.”

No, you volunteered. You were eager!

You said, “Send me! Send me! I want to understand! I want to discover how energies work, how creation works, how to get along with people, how to get along with the people I love, and how to get along with the others so that they don’t murder all the people I love!”

Oh, you were so eager! You came here by choice! Nobody made you.

You came here to go through these very difficult experiences, and you knew going in that they were difficult.

You said, “I want to go through that. I want to know. I want to understand!

Mmm…

And you went through so many experiences.

And so often, you thought you got them all wrong. But you didn’t.

When you would die and come home to your Soul, your Soul would take those experiences and distill the wisdom from them. It didn’t keep the details. It didn’t care about those, for only your mind cares about those. But it distilled the wisdom, the things you had learned. In every lifetime there were things that you learned, that you came to understand, and your Soul took those things and held them for you.

And that, dear friend, is why so many people suffer today.

They are still going through their experiences. They are still finding their wisdom. They are still coming to their own understandings.

You might have noticed, those of you who have reached a certain level of wisdom, that you really can’t teach anybody anything. Everybody has to find their own wisdom, their own solutions.

Oh, sometimes your stories and your experience can, if they are open to it, help them along and help them to understand what it is they are learning. But they have to already mostly be there, in order to even hear you.

Mmm…

So, there are still lots and lots and lots of people on Earth who are seeking their own wisdom, and part of the process is going through that suffering. And they are choosing it!

Just like you, they said, “Let me at it! I’m big enough! I’m strong enough! I’ll go through it, and I’ll come out the other side a wiser and stronger being!”

Oh, they forgot that, of course, as soon as they got born in that baby body, and so they go through their experiences here and they are so miserable. But at some point they too will cross over, and they will look back and go, “Wow, what an incredible experience! And look how much I learned!”

Mmm…

So that, dear friends, is why humans suffer.

Because someone—well, because each one of you—needed to play out those traumas from the past, in order to finally bring them to resolution. In order to finally understand yourself. In order to gain the wisdom.

Mmm…

Most of you watching this or reading this, you’ve come to a point where you have your wisdom. You’ve reached completion.

At the human level you may not know that yet, but if you don’t, you are not even going to be paying attention to this. You are going to be wondering what kind of nonsense this is, and you are going to turn it off. And that’s fine. Your time hasn’t come yet, and it will.

But for those of you who are feeling a resonance here, your time has come. Your journey is complete.

Others have come before you. They found the answers. They discovered that they are sovereign beings and that it was all their creation to start with, and no one else’s.

No one ever imposed anything on them, or on you. You agreed to every single experience that you have been through.

And now you know.

You don’t ever have to do that again. You do not have to agree to experiences that you don’t want.

You didn’t know that back then, and so you thought it was the way forward. But now you know.

That is why you suffered, because you went into those experiences in order to discover what was in it for you. And now you know.

Now you don’t need those kind of experiences anymore.

Yes, there are those who have come to this place ahead of you. You call them ascended masters.

Indeed, they are masters. The word “ascended” comes from the fact that they jumped right out of their bodies, for the most part.

Because, you see, this body is much more than the physical body that you see in the mirror. There is an energetic body, and that energetic body carries through lifetimes. And it tended to take on those traumas that you went through.

You, as a soul, cannot be damaged in any way. But this body could be, and the energetic body that transcends your lifetimes carried many of those traumas forward.

And so, when the ascended masters came to their realization, to their point of realizing the true nature of things and realizing that they’d completed their journey, they didn’t need it anymore. Suddenly, this body felt very, very heavy, so they jumped out. They let it go, and that’s okay.

But some of you knew that the journey will not actually be completely finished until you bring that body to resolution.

Besides, you wanted to take it with you. Not the physical construct, which only works here on Earth. It doesn’t work anywhere else in all of creation.

But there are other places with different environments, and because of your experience with this body here, you can project a body into those environments that works there.

But first, you have to clear it.

You have to clear all of those wounds that it remembers, that it doesn’t know what to do with, so that’s what you are doing right now.

Yes, you could simply jump out if you want to. At some future date you’ll probably be able to do it in a whole new way, but for right now there are a group of humans on the planet—and you are likely among this group—who have chosen to go through the difficult, challenging process of clearing all of those traumas from your energy body.

And that is not easy, dear friend. That is why so many of you are hurting right now. It is why strange things are happening to your bodies.

We ask you not to fight those things. Not to panic. Not to think you have to go fix them.

Oh, certainly, if there is something physical that’s obvious, don’t be afraid to go to the doctor. But you may find that even that doesn’t work so well. The doctor may not be able to find anything wrong, or they might give you all kinds of labels that you really don’t need. Because those labels, those diagnoses, tend to lock it in.

Oh, every one of you have had cancer in your body at different times, and then you let it go. And lots of other issues in your body, and then you let them go. But when a doctor sees it and says, “Oh, you have cancer. You are going to die soon!” Well, that kind of locks it in, because you believe them, and so that’s what happens.

So, be aware of that. Trust your own intuition about what to do about these aches and pains.

Because most of them are simply symptoms. All of them, really, but for the most part, they will pass on their own.

They are part of the process of releasing all of these old traumas.

Now the human mind goes, “Oh, how can I help? How can I figure out what those traumas were and let them go?”

Dear mind, you can’t. You cannot!

And it is not important that you understand, at that level, what they are.

Oh, every now and then you become aware of something, some ancestral pattern or some fear from some other time or whatever, and your mind goes, “Oh, how do I let that go?”

You don’t. You can’t.

What you can do is simply take a breath and say, “Dear Soul, dear Divinity, here, look at this with me. Help me to know what I need to know, and please take it and do what you need to do with it.”

Because, dear friend, it is your Soul’s job. It is not your job as the human.

It is your Soul’s job to heal these things and release these things, and it is happening!

It is happening, and you can’t stop it.

You are getting through this. It is a done deal!

But the more you try to manage it and control the process yourself, the more you try to figure it out and fix it, the more it is going to hurt.

That doesn’t mean that if you stop trying to control it and fix it, it’s going to immediately stop hurting. No. It is going to hurt for a time, because it is necessary. It’s an old pain that has been inside of you, buried in the darkness, for so long! And as it comes back out into the light and comes to its healing, it hurts.

You’ve heard of healing crises, this thing happens when somebody is going through a natural healing process and they begin to heal, and suddenly all the symptoms come back. They might be in agony for a time, and then they come through it and it is healed.

That’s what is happening right now.

Oh, and then there are other kinds of suffering.

For so long, you felt yourself the victims of so many others. You played these power games.

And yes, being a victim is just one side of a power game.

There were those in power who oppressed you, and you played a good game of being oppressed.

That might sound disrespectful. But dear friend, at this point you know it is the truth.

Being a victim is one half of a power game, and the other half cannot play if you don’t. That’s how it is.

The mind says, “Oh, no, they beat me up! They killed me! They raped me! They murdered me! They tortured me!” or whatever.

Yes, because that was a game you played with them.

Oh, you didn’t mean to. You didn’t choose it, certainly not at the human level, or even at the soul level. It probably wasn’t such a conscious choice. But it is how you thought things worked, and so that is the game you played. But it was still your game.

Now you know better. Then, you didn’t.

Now you understand that you are the creator.

You are divinity.

You are the one and only creator of everything in your life.

And when you own that, when you claim it for yourself and make it yours, and keep reminding yourself of that truth, then everything in your life changes.

It doesn’t make the aches and pains go away. It doesn’t suddenly mean you have a million dollars in the bank. But life becomes very, very different, and all of those things just work out. Because you are no longer playing that victim game.

Now you are a sovereign being.

That does not mean you can go in your mind and command life to be a certain way. It might work for a minute, but it will backfire if you try that. It will blow right up in your face!

But it does mean that now your Soul, your Divinity, can take charge of your life.

There will still be challenges. But now the challenge is to allow the challenge to be there.

To allow the pain to be there.

To allow it all to be there, while it works out all of those traumas that are buried in your body.

This is a finite process, dear friend. But you have been, some of you, through thousands of lifetimes, and there is a lot there. And you are going through it very quickly.

You will come out the other side.

And you will discover what Heaven on Earth truly means, because you are already building it.

You will come to the end of your suffering, even before you come to the end of the pain.

You will begin to realize that pain and suffering are not the same thing. Pain happens. It is an illusion created within the mind, but it happens.

Suffering is a whole different thing. Suffering is making yourself a victim to the pain, instead of honoring it as the beautiful healing process that it is.

Try that, dear friend. When you are feeling all this pain in your body, when you are facing these challenges in your life, whether it is money challenges or health challenges or love challenges or whatever, stop for a minute. Take a deep breath, and honor it for the beautiful process that this challenge, this pain, is facilitating, of bringing healing to all of you, to all these things that your body holds on to.

So, you see, suffering is not an arbitrary decision by some higher power. It is something that you chose to go through in order to heal the past, in order to come to an understanding of how you can go forward without suffering, without pain, without hurting, and without hurting each other or being hurt by others.

Your journey through Earth, and everything you have experienced here, has brought you to this place where you, and others like you, are literally building heaven on Earth right now.

You are going to begin to be able to see it within a decade.

It is here. It is already in place. It is already in progress. Most people can’t see it yet, but you will begin to see the evidence of it very soon.

Because the journey is complete. You have your answers, even if the human doesn’t quite understand what they are yet.

And the others who don’t yet, they will come along. It might take some of them another millennia, or part of it. But we have good evidence to say that, at the end of the next thousand years, everything will be so different. Earth will be an entirely different place.

It will still be a place where angels can come and go through experiences to find their own wisdom, but in a whole different way. With much, much less suffering, and much more quickly. No more spending thousands of lifetimes on this planet like so many of you did to get here!

Others will come here and move through it very quickly, because of the pathways that you have opened.

Mmm…

So, welcome home, dear friend!

Yes, it still hurts.

It’s likely to hurt for a short time to come, but there is a reason.

And when you honor that reason—oh, not the details of each little trauma that comes up, but simply that process of bringing healing to all of those things, of bringing healing to all that you are, not just in spirit but in your body also—then everything can change.

Your body is transforming. It is becoming fluid, dynamic, changeable, etheric.

At some point it will be able to come and go as you wish, to even transform and be something different, as you wish. But right now it’s still going through this healing process.

There is so much from the past.

It’s not your job to figure it out, or to make it happen.

It is your job simply to be in it, to allow it to happen.

Don’t panic.

Don’t freak out because it hurts.

You will come through it, and you will be complete.

Ahh…

And we are complete, for now.

And so it is.
